Cowork exits research preview and launches generally on macOS and Windows Desktop for all paid plans. Ships alongside role-based access controls (RBAC) — admins can group users and assign feature permissions — plus analytics dashboards, OpenTelemetry observability, and a Zoom connector.

Interactive Apps — the ability to generate live charts, sketches, and shareable components directly in chat — are now available in the Claude iOS and Android apps. Not a Cowork feature per se, but makes reviewing Cowork output on mobile noticeably smoother.

Cowork Gains Computer Use Capabilities

Claude Cowork can now directly use your computer — opening files, using the browser, running dev tools, clicking, scrolling, and typing. It uses a permission-first safety model where Claude requests access before touching new applications. Currently available for Pro and Max subscribers on macOS only.
